Posted by uwlegalscholarship on September 3, 2007
The Socio-Legal Studies Association holds the SLSA Postgraduate Conference January 23-24, 2008, in Hull, UK.
The conference is aimed at those starting out in their careers who may need guidance on issues such as: completing their postgraduate research; getting their work published; finding their first academic job; and establishing links with like-minded scholars. Students often find that they are the only socio-legally minded individuals in their law school and it is hoped that these events reduce the resulting feelings of intellectual isolation.
